Our Story
EST 2018
With Andrew drawn to the area for the winemaking traditions and Skye the artisan lifestyle, together they decided that the Barossa provided them opportunities to live a simple life where they could embrace their love of food and wine, grow their own veggies and provide a country up-bringing for their future children.
Their plan for a simple, quiet life got complicated with the arrival of their delightful (but very loud) three children and a high-maintenance dog, Trevor. Although their peaceful(!) life had now disappeared, their determination to achieve the dream of their own wine brand remained, but with dogged determination to show their children that they can achieve success with a creative passion and hard work.

Andrew Quin
To Andrew, Quin Wines is about providing opportunities for self-discovery. It’s about learning and experimenting in different regions, styles, and techniques, and in the process discovering more about himself as a winemaker. With a passion for finding smaller, unknown parcels of land, Andrew is a big believer that great wines are made in the vineyard.
Skye Quin
With vibrant enthusiasm and a zest for life, Skye is not one to be frightened by hard work. Running two (and now three!) successful businesses, she is perhaps one smart cookie or a glutton for punishment. She is the visionary, owner and manager behind the Barossa’s newest high-end accommodation, Cambourne Boutique Accommodation, and co-runs a rapidly growing and successful Occupational Therapy business.
Skye’s philosophy is simple – do things once and do them well; surround yourself with good people and always look for the beautiful in things.
